LASHKARGAH: Leading a government delegation, acting Minister of Information and Culture, Mawlavi Khairullah Khairkhwah visited the country’s southern Helmand province and met with the related organs heads and officials, separated statements said the other day.
During his visit to Helmand province, the acting minister discussed some important issues with the head and officials of the provincial information and culture department, including journalists and heard their suggestions and problems, the provincial department of Information and Culture said in the statement.
Hafiz Abdulbari Rashid, head of the provincial information and culture department shared achievements and problems of his led department with the acting minister pledging to address them duly, the statement quoted.
The acting minister also instructed the officials for well preservation of the historical monuments and said all their problems in this area will be met, according to the source.
The acting minister also visited the department of the provincial National Radio Television (RTA) and hailed the director Mawlavi Nazar Mohammad Zahid for his efforts to bring changes and developments in the affairs of the department.
According to the statement, Khairkhwah said there was a need for close cooperation between media outlets and the Islamic Emirate Media and Information Center (IEAMIC) in order to facilitate access to reports from the IEA main programs to be shared with the people.
Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Deputy Information and Culture Minister for Publication Affairs Zabihullah Mujahid, Deputy to Art and Culture of the ministry, Mawlavi Atiqullah Azizi and Deputy to the Youths Affairs Mullah Faizullah Tamim accompanied the acting minister in his visit to the province, according to the source.
