KABUL: The country’s ministry of education has said the other day that it was planned to hire up to 7,000 teachers and administrative staffs this year.
In a press conference, the ministry announced 7,000 va- cancies, nearly half of them for
women in the western and east- ern provinces of the country, according to a statement from the ministry.
“Some 2,777 positions are dedicated for female and 4,219 positions for male teachers, as well as some vacancies have been announced for Herat,
Farah, Ghor, Badghis, Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, and Nangar- har provinces, the statement added.
Recently, the Ministry of Education announced 1,893 vacancies in Kabul through a reform competition process.
