Ministry of Interior issues weapon license for Mujahidin

KABUL: The Ministry of Interior has asked all the personnel and Mujahidin of the civil and military departments of the Islamic Emirate who want to carry weapons to go to the relevant departments for obtain weapon licenses, a statement from the ministry said Sunday. In order to identify irresponsible armed men and opportunist individuals and to take better investigative and operational security measures all over the country, the Ministry of Interior wants to issue weapon  licenses to the IEA personnel and the Mujahidin, according to the statement. The ministry asked all employees and Mujahidin of the civil and military departments of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan,  who have weapons, from now on today (Sunday April 2)  Hamal 13th to get registered with their weapons permit cards from the public services department.  In the provinces, they refer to the Disarmament of Illegal Armed Group (DIAG) process of the police headquarters for getting their weapons cards.  According to the statement, a period of one month has been set for obtaining the form and its procedures and no complaint would be heard once the deadline expires.
