Minister Nomani asks China to invest in New Kabul project

KABUL: The acting Minister of Urban Development and Housing (MUDH) Shaikh Hamdullah Nomani, in a meeting with Zhao Xing, the Chinese ambassador to Kabul, asked him to invest in the New Kabul City project, the ministry said in a statement the other day. According to the statement, 1,400 residential units are being built in the Nila Bagh project in Kabul, and another 10,000 residential units will be built in the New Kabul City project, said Minister Nomani asking the Chinese government to invest in the project. Meanwhile, the Chinese ambassador to Kabul Zhao Xing, expressed hope that the construction work on the Nila Bagh project will be completed on time. “I hope after sharing information about the New Kabul City project, Chinese investors will be interested in investing in the project,” he said. He further said: “Comple tion of China’s development projects in Afghanistan will be a good start for the future relations between the two countries. It has been said that the Nilga Bagh project is one of the construction projects in the capital Kabul, in which 1,400 residential units will be built with Chinese investment. The Kabul Times
