Minister Muttaqi to visit Pakistan for foreign ministers’ meeting

KABUL: Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi is scheduled to travel to Pakistan next week to meet with the foreign ministers of Pakistan and China, Hafiz Zia Ahmad deputy MoFA spokesman wrote on his official Twitter handle. Leading a political and economic delegation, the acting min ister would travel to Islamabad, the capital of the neighboring country of Pakistan next week, the deputy spokesman twitted. “The government of Afghanistan wants to hold comprehensive talks on bilateral political-commercial relations, regional stability and transit between Afghanistan and Pakistan, according to the twitter,” the spokesman wrote. The Islamic Emirate’s foreign minister will also participate in the 6th tripartite meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan, China and Pakistan. During his stay to Pakistan, the IEA foreign minister will exchange views on bilateral issues with his Chinese counterpart. The Kabul Times
