KABUL: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) Shaikh Mawlavi Hebtullah Akhundzada in a decree has instructed the related military organs not to deploy underage children in their units.
In the decree, all security and defense institutions have been instructed not to hire underage children in military units and not to deploy for any military operations as their physical bodies cannot bear the tough task.
The decree added that presence of underage children in military units would also cause sedition and bring notoriety to the mujahidin. The Supreme Leader of the IEA has asked relevant officials to be serious in prevention of deploying the underage children in military units, saying that the military commission would disarm those violating the decree.
