Meeting held in Kandahar to discuss job opportunities, Mujahid

KANDAHAR: A meeting has been held by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in the country’s southern province of Kandahar, to discuss the provision of the people with job opportunities countrywide, the spokesman of the Is lamic Emirate Zabihullah Mujahid, said in a statement on his X account Sunday. The meeting discussed a series of important issues including assessing and determining unemployment causes and providing the people with further job opportunities across the country as well as hiring Afghans instead of foreign employees in the producing factories, Mujahid said. The meeting instructed the industrialists who hire foreign employees due to necessary, they should provide their foreign workers with job licenses, Mujahid added. Furthermore, a decision has been made to reduce imports and further domestic products should be used instead of foreign products The Kabul Times
