Mawlavi Kabir asks EU to cooperate with Afghanistan in reconstruction projects

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, in a meeting, with Raffaella Iodice, the Chargé d’Affaires of the European Union in Kabul, asked the EU to cooperate with Afghanistan in launching reconstruction projects. Mawlavi Kabir added that after decades of war and instability, Afghanistan now needs basic assistance in the field of health, education, and reconstruction andv the EU should cooperate with the country in the implementation of the reconstruction and development projects, Arg said in a statement the other day. Assuring the continuation of the European Union’s humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, Rafaella Iodice said that the humanitarian aid is now distributed among deserved families and there is no concern about administrative corruption, according to the statement. Also, she expressed satisfaction over countrywide sure security and said that they without any fear traveled to a number of provinces with peace of mind and closely assessed the situation of the people, the statement added. “Afghanistan is one of the countries that are victims of climate change, which needs special attention from the international community to provide necessary assistance to these countries to prevent harmful effects of climate damage,” the statement quoted Rafaella Iodice as saying. The deputy PM according to the statement, went on as saying that now there is no administrative corruption in Afghanistan and cultivation and smuggling of drugs have been significantly decreased, as well as Daesh has been suppressed and the borders are under control.
