Mawlavi Hanafi chairs first meeting of Hajj Committee

KABUL: The first meeting of the Hajj Committee was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, discussing issues on the agenda, Arg said in a statement the other day. According to the statement, the committee was attended by the acting Minister of Hajj and Islamic Affairs Shaikh Noor Mohammad Saqib and other members of the committee and representatives of Ariana and Kam Air Airlines, as the transporters of the pilgrims. The meeting discussed the safe and easy transportation of pilgrims from the center and provinces of the country to the Hajj program and their return to the country. The meeting’s leadership stressed providing necessary facilities and services for the country’s pilgrims during their transportation, return, and stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the process of transporting this year’s Hajj pilgrimages from Afghanistan began with the first flight carrying about 250 pilgrims from Kabul International Airport.
