PUL-I-ALAM: At least three civilians have been killed in a landmine blast in the country’s central province of Logar, a statement from the provincial government said the other day. “Three people have been killed as a landmine exploded in Mohammad Agha district of Logar province,” the statement quoted the provincial governor office as saying. Recently, dozens of people have been killed and tens of others injured in various parts of the province. Landmines and unexploded remnants of wars are often claiming the lives of people, mostly children, in different parts of the country. Elsewhere in the al-Timur area of Pul-e-Alam, the provincial capital city, an unexploded ordinance of war has killed two children and wounded two others. The Kabul Times
