KABUL: Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate for  Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir has said that the Daesh outfit he termed as “Khawarij” were defeated elements who have now been taking revenge from the ordinary people. In a message in response to Monday’s terrorist incident in Kabul, he said: “As a result of the Islamic Emirate’s forces fights against “Khawarij”, the elements are defeated but they are now taking revenge from the innocent people.”  “Unfortunately, the enemies of Islam and Afghanistan once again attacked our fasting compatriots in the holy month of Ramadan,”  said the Deputy Prime Minister adding such attacks reveal the true face of the enemies of Islam and Afghans.” In his message, PM Mawlavi Kabir strongly condemned the attack and praised the courage of security forces who shot dead the attacker before reaching his target.  He wished paradise for the martyrs, speedy recovery to the injured and great patience to their families. On Monday afternoon, a man, reportedly, wearing explosive packed vest, wanted to reach his exact target to blow the explosive devices, but was identified and gunned down by security personnel. Once he was shot, his explosive went on martyring or injuring a number of civilians. The Kabul Times
