Islamic Emirate, national and international personalities condemn deadly Kabul attack

KABUL: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and many national and international figures and organizations have condemned in the strongest possible terms the recent attack on Kaaj educational center in police district 13 of the capital Kabul.
“Today’s attack on an educational center in 13th district of Kabul is a great horror and we strongly condemn it” Zabihullah Mujahid spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said on his official twitter.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan expressed his deep condolences and sorrow with the families of the victims, Mujahid said on his twitter.
In order to receive and punish the perpetrators of the incident necessary measures will be taken, the IEA spokesman added.
Former President Hamid Karzai and former chairman of the High Peace Council for National Reconciliation, Abdullah Abdullah, also condemned the attack happened early Friday morning.
Karzai called the recent deadly blast a human crime from the enemy of Afghanistan and a conspiracy against the development of the country.
“I strongly condemn today’s heinous and barbaric terrorist attack on Kaaj education center in Dashti Barchi in Kabul. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families at this difficult time,” Abdullah said.
UN Special Rapporteur Richard Bennett, also, condemned the incident and said this was a horrific
attack on students at Kaaj Academy Dasht-e Barchi. “Students no targets,” Bennet said adding this was a repeat of 2018 ISKP attack at same location. Onslaught on education. Stop attacks on Afghanistan’s future, stop int’l crimes, he said.
Likewise, U.S. Charge d’Affaires Karen Decker said on Twitter: “The U.S. strongly condemns today’s attack on the Kaaj higher educational center. Targeting a room full of students taking exams is shameful; all students
should be able to pursue an education in peace and without fear.”
No one has so far claimed responsibility for the heavy blast that killed dozens of people and wounded tens others, west of the capital.
