Since the Islamic Emirate takeover in mid-August 2021, the international community and some neighboring countries have repeatedly said that the Islamic Emirate is not inclusive and asked Afghanistan authorities to make an inclusive government. In response to the demands of the international community, the Islamic Emirate has always stressed that Islamic Emirate is inclusive and people from different segments and regions see themselves in the government. In most recent remarks, the Islamic Emirate Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Kabir has said that Islamic Emirate is the all-inclusive system and people of every tribe and every province work in this government. Addressing cabinet members and tribal elders in Kabul last week, the acting Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate said that the Islamic Emirate government was inclusive and working to resolve people’s problems. “The current Islamic Emirate government is inclusive and people of every tribe and region are working in it,” said Mawlavi Kabir adding, the Islamic Emirate is working to resolve people’s problems, strengthening national unity and developing the country. Pointing to progress in the past almost two years, Mawlavi Kabir added Afghanistan has made progress on political and economic fronts and the IEA wanted positive relations with the rest of the world, saying that if Afghanistan needed the world, the world also needed Afghanistan. Meanwhile, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi on the occasion said that the Islamic Emirate was inclusive as hundreds of thousands of employees of the previous government were working and there was no discrimination in the government’s structures. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has frequently said that it has shaped an inclusive system and considerable progress has been made in all fields. Besides, the Islamic Emirate has repeatedly urged the international community to recognize the Islamic Emirate as a legal government of Afghanistan. The international community has yet to define inclusive government. If they want that all tribes of Afghanistan are included in the government, the Islamic Emirate has people from different tribes and provinces. All the tribes and people from different segments and provinces can see themselves within the Islamic Emirate. It is now time that the international community and some neighboring countries to enter into positive engagement with the Islamic Emirate and stop asking the Islamic Emirate for the formation of an inclusive government. The Islamic Emirate understands better that their call formation of an inclusive is a political excuse. The current government of Afghanistan represents all Afghan ethnic groups and has representatives from different tribes and regions. Therefore, the international community is urged to accept the realities and all the progress that have been made in the past almost two years in Afghanistan. Mohammad Daud
