KABUL: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has denied the UN Special Rapporteur’s claims of violation of human rights in Panjshir province.
“The court will investigate if there was any question about violation of human rights in the province,” the deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Belal Karimi said.
The deputy spokesman called on Richard Bennett to form its report based on the realities in Afghanistan.
“The rights of all people of Afghanistan are protected under the Islamic Emirate If any violation occurred somewhere and someone was treated mistakenly, it will be investigated by the Islamic Emirate,” said the deputy spokesman.
UN special rapporteur Richard Bennett said on Twitter that he has met with scores of stakeholders including female and male reps of civil society from several provinces, during his visit to Afghanistan.
