Islamic Emirate committed to address people’s challenges, PM Hasan Akhund assures

KABUL: The Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, met with a delegation of scholars from the Ulama Association of Islamic countries, Arg said in a statement on Sunday. The scholars said that the Islamic system has been achieved as a result of countless sacrifices and efforts of the brave nation of the country, according to the statement. “Currently, the eyes of the Islamic world are on you and the Mujahideen of Palestine, and they have mentioned the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan as a symbol of Islamic systems,” the statement quoted scholars as saying. Speaking on behalf of the scholars, Dr. Ali Qara Daghi, conveyed their assurance of coopera tion in political, economic, and social fields. He mentioned that the delegation represented 64 societies of Islamic countries and scholars from four religions. The scholars emphasized the importance of unity in the Islamic Ummah and stated that only scholars can shoulder the responsibility of addressing the challenges faced by the oppressed Palestinian nation. Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund expressed gratitude to the visiting scholars and said “The current system is made up of scholars and it appreciates the efforts of the scholars of the Islamic world.” “The oppressed Palestinian nation has also faced pain and suffering like the Afghans throughout history, in order to get out of this situation, there is a serious need for the unity of the Islamic Ummah, and this heavy responsibility can only be carried out by the scholars,” the statement quoted PM as saying. Referring to the ongoing difficulties facing Afghanistan, including earthquakes, floods, and the mass expulsion of Afghan refugees, the Prime Minister assured that the officials of the Islamic Emirate are committed to addressing these problems and expressed a willingness to cooperate as much as possible. Emphasizing the importance of sincerity and mutual support among Islamic nations, Mullah Hasan Akhund said that further attention should be paid in the ground. The Kabul Times
