Irrigation canal inaugurated in Maidan Wardak

KABUL: The construction of 80 meters of irrigation canal worth 1.3 million Afghanis was completed and put into exploitation in Maidan Wardak by the National Citizenship Charter Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD), said a statement from the MRRD on Tuesday.
The project implemented in Dari Masjed village, Jalriz district of Maidan Wardak province with the cost of 1.3 million Afghanis.
Implementation of the project created 1066 labor days for technical and non-technical workers, and 400 cares of agricultural lands will be irrigated.
