Investment on economic, development projects begins in country

KABUL: Investments on some big economic and development projects have practically been started in the country, the Office of the Deputy of Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate for Economic Affairs said in a statement Tuesday. Some foreign companies showed their interest to invest over 10 billion U.S. dollars in various sectors, in which some of the investments have practically begun in the country, the statement said. Pointing to the achievements of the last solar year, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate for Economic Affairs said that the country’s commodities exports reached 2 billion U.S. dollars in 1401, as well as the influence level has significantly been downed, according to the statement. On the other hand, the Official of the country’s Central Bank said in a statement that the representatives of Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) have recently attended the 43rd meeting of the SAARC Finance Governors’ Group. “The 43rd SAARC Finance Governors’ Group Meeting was held on May 2, in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, where the Afghani currency has been called as the most stable currency in the region, the statement said.
