Intl community to finally go for recognition of Islamic Emirate

The Islamic Emirate officials have once again called on the international community to engage with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The IEA officials have urged the world countries to take steps for recognition of the current government of the Islamic Emirate. The officials have said that the world does not have any other option, except entering for positive engagement with the Islamic Emirate and recognition of their government.
In his most recent remarks, acting Minister of Justice of the Islamic Emirate has urged the international community to go for engagement with the Islamic Emirate and recognition of the current government instead of hostility.
The world countries also want to have engagement with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan as the deputy special representative of the UN Secretary-General in late December 2022 asked the western countries to reopen their embassies in Kabul.
The deputy special representative of the UN Secretary-General Markus Potzel had said that his appeal would be for more Western states to be represented in Kabul again. He had made the remarks in an interview with the Redaktions Netzwerk Deutschland (RND). Potzel had suggested that it was easier to assess the situation in Afghanistan when being present in the country, adding that it shouldn’t be forgotten that Germany and other western nations also had interests in Afghanistan.
The world understands that security has improved across Afghanistan and the Islamic Emirate is working to provide better services for the people. Besides, the world has also found that significant developments have been made in all fields in the country. Therefore, the Islamic Emirate time by time urges the international community to enter for a positive engagement with the Islamic Emirate.
Acting minister of justice in his meeting with the UN Secretary General’s special envoy for Afghanistan, Roz Otunbayeva, Abdul Hakim Sharyee has said that it was time that the world should go for engagement with the Islamic Emirate but said that western countries were only seeking to put pressure on the Islamic Emirate.
In the meeting, acting minister of justice told head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Afghanistan (UNAMA) that the international community should engage with the Islamic Emirate. It is not the first time the Islamic Emirate officials have urged the world countries for a positive engagement with the current government of Afghanistan. Since the IEA takeover, the country’s foreign ministry and other top officials of the Islamic Emirate have repeatedly urged the world to engage with the Islamic Emirate.
For the officials of the Islamic Emirate, positive engagement means to recognize the Islamic Emirate. No world countries have officially recognized the Islamic Emirate, but more than 10 countries of the region and world have reopened their embassies in Kabul and are actively in engagement with the Islamic Emirate.
A number of political experts believe that it’s important for both the Islamic Emirate and the international community to go for negotiation so that they enter for a positive engagement with each other. According to political experts, without positive engagement, it seems difficult to address the problems of the Afghan people facing with widespread poverty and increasing unemployment.
