Interior Ministry denies drone attacks in Kabul

KABUL: The Interior Ministry of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has denied the allegations that a drone attacked some areas of the country’s capital Kabul.
Abdul Nafi Takoor, a spokesman of the Interior Ministry, said that a rocket hit an empty residence in Sherpor area of Kabul city, adding there were no casualties.
“A rocket hit a house in the Sherpor area of Kabul this morning at around 6:00am in police district 10 of the capital, but the house was empty of residents, so, no casualties have happened,” he said.
Some social media users, including Rahmatullah Nabil former National Security Director said on his Twitter page that it was a U.S. drone attack on an IS shelter in Kabul on Sunday morning.
Kabul residents said they heard multiple blasts in Kabul city.
