FAIZABAD: At least three armed men, apparently, affiliated with the IEA armed oppositions, have been killed and another wounded in a clash with IEA local forces, in the country’s northern Badakhshan province, a local source confirmed Friday. The clash happened late on Friday night, after a group of armed men planned to disturb security in the Shiwa area of the province, Qari Muezzuddin Ahmadi, head of the provincial Information and Culture told media.
“Three of the six rebel group were killed, another wounded by the provincial intelligence forces and two others fled the area,” Ahmadi said.
No intelligence force members suffered casualties in the clash took place few hours to end.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a grand assembly, recently, attended by thousands of religious scholars, described the Islamic system legitimate and resolved that any move against it would be termed rebellion and deserved repression.
