Installation of CCTV cameras kicked off in Baghlan, ministry

According to the Ministry of Interior, the installation of security cameras will reduce crime and criminals will be easily identifiable.

KABUL: The Ministry of Interior, in a statement, said that the process of installing security cameras has started in the country’s northern province of Baghlan. Faridullah Abid, who is heading up the installation process, said 20 security cameras have so far been installed in different parts of the city and at the entrance gates to ensure security, according to the statement. “Security cameras will soon be installed on a number of highways, strategic points of the city and 15 districts of this province,” the statement quoted Abid as saying. According to the Ministry of Interior, the installation of security cameras will reduce crime and criminals will be easily identifiable. The Kabul Times
