IEA’s statement on 43rd anniversary of former Soviet Union invasion of Afghanistan

43 years ago, on the 6th of Jadi of 1358 solar year (coinciding 1979), the former Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan by sending thousands of its troops into the country.
During its ten-year occupation and after great outrages, the invaders spared no efforts to destroy our country in every field, forced millions of Afghans to emigrate from the country and become martyrs and disabled. But Alhamdulillah, our brave and Muslim nation fought bravely against them, as a result of which, the Soviet Red Army was defeated in Afghanistan and our nation was freed from its evil and occupation after ten years.
This great event of history conveys the message that the proud power of the world should not doubt the faith, dignity and strong will of the Muslim and courageous people of Afghanistan.
It also proves that no matter how poor and oppressed our nation is, it has a clear history in implementing the order of the Almighty Allah (which is conducting jihad and the holy war) and gaining the independence and freedom of its country and protecting it.
In the last century, this great truth is shown by the occupation of the British, the Soviets, and the Americans and their disgraceful defeat.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) condemns the aggression of the former Soviet Union to our territory once again, it calls on the nation to be always ready to protect the freedom of its land and independence and not to allow anyone to act against our country, values and nation to implement their evil plans and wrong will.
The Islamic Emirate is committed to continue day and night services and try its best for the defense and protection of the country, its religious values and the Muslim nation.
The Afghan nation should remain strong and firm against any plots and conspiracies and do their best to fight for protecting their freedom and their Islamic system.
