IEA urging America not to impose Western culture on other nations

America’s Ministry of State, in its annual report, has expressed concern about the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan, particularly various decrees issued by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan on women. However, the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid, has stated concerning the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan, adding the people of Afghanistan are “Muslim” and their rights are ensured based on “Sharia Law.” “Whatever is defined as a culture and human rights in America and other Western countries is in contradiction with Afghanistan, and the Westerners should not impose their culture on other countries,” said Mujahid. Mujahid made the remarks in an audio message disseminated via the Radio Television of Afghanistan (RTA). Meanwhile, the IEA’s deputy spokesperson, Hamdullah Fetrat, stated that the human rights the Western world is willing to implement in Afghanistan, an Islamic Society related to Western culture, and the Afghans never demand such human rights. However, some political analysts criticize America’s human rights report in Afghanistan, believing that America is making an effort to put Afghanistan under pressure using human rights issues. “The human rights issue has become a tool to exert pressure on Islamic nations and other weak nations,” said Abdul Qadir Qanet, a political analyst. It comes as the Islamic Emirate has met the recognition criteria and other international community conditions to survive Afghanistan against the restrictions and limitations imposed by the American–led world. Fighting against the terrorist groups, combatting the cultivation, production and trade of drugs, and not using Afghanistan soil as a Launchpad against other nations are among the positive initiatives taken by the Islamic Emirate over the past two years. These steps are considered positive measures taken by the IEA to propel Afghanistan toward recognition. America and the international community have always used human rights and women’s rights issues as a tool to ensure their own rights in Afghanistan after their humiliating defeat in Afghanistan. The Afghan nation has made sacrifices to liberate its country from Western occupation, leading the country not to fall under the dominance of the West. Mukhtar Safi
