IEA Supreme Leader meets some provincial religious scholars

KABUL: Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, held a consultative meeting with the heads, deputies and secretarial officials of the Council of scholars of Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Nimroz, Farah, Paktika and Paktia provinces.
In the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs, the Supreme Court Deputy and some members of the Religious Publications Supervision and Inspection Agency have also attended, the statement said.
The Supreme Leader called consultation important under the Islamic teachings and added consultation could bring unity and consensus among Muslims, according to the statement.
The Supreme Leader praised the activities of the religious scholars and said: “Many problems of the people have been addressed by the councils and they should always pay attention to the people’s problems and pay more attention to their responsibilities in this regard.” “Religious scholars are the group whose responsibility does not end until the Day of Resurrection,” the statement quoted. Meanwhile, religious scholars shared details about the council’s responsibilities and also shared some other issues and suggestions with the IEA Supreme Leader.
According to a statement, the scholars have provided important consultation on establishing a permanent relationship between the Islamic Emirate and the people, addressing people’s problems, bringing reforms in provincial institutions and further development. The Kabul Times
