IEA supports media that operate based on Islamic values, Mawlavi Farahi

KABUL: The Deputy Publication Minister of Information and Culture and the Acting Deputy Governor of Herat province, Mawlavi Hayatullah Muhajer Farahi said the Islamic Emirate supports the media that operate according to the principles of the Islamic Emirate system and Islamic values, the state-run Bakhtar News Agency reported Saturday. Mawlavi Farahi made the remarks in a meeting with the officials of the Information and Culture Department of Jawzjan province, in Sheberghan city, the agency said. The provincial officials and journalists of the local private media shared information about their work and activities and asked the ministry to address challenges facing them in the province, according to the agency. The officials stated that after the resumption of power by the Islamic Emirate all of the local media have continued their activities and publications based on the principles of the Islamic Emirate system and Islamic values. Visiting the National Radio Television of Jawzjan, Mawlavi Farahi assured that the challenges facing the media would be addressed in the province. Also, Farahi and his accompanying team visited the Dasht-e-Laili and prayed for the souls of the martyrs on the path of Islam, freedom, and justice. The Kabul Times
