IEA priority to address people’s challenges, Deputy PM Hanafi

KABUL: Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, met with a number of scholars and elders of Gurziwan and Pashtun Kot districts of the country’s northern province of Faryab, a statement from his office said Tuesday. Hajji Ajab Gul and Abdul Shukoor Yawar spoke on behalf of others and expressed pleasure over re-establishment of the Islamic System and ensuring overall security in the country, the statement said. They also said that the people are being well-behaved by the IEA’s officials in the districts and they will not spare any support and cooperation with the current system, according to the statement. They briefed about the social and security situation of the province to Deputy Prime Minister adding since the return of the Islamic Emirate to power, the social and security situation in the province has improved and the people were fully satisfied with the security situation. They also called on the leadership of the Islamic Emirate to pay special attention to the reconstruction and development of the province, particularly in the construction of the transportation road between the two districts, the statement added. Deputy PM Hanafi, appreciated the efforts and sacrifices of the people and scholars of the province, especially people of the districts for ending the occupation and establishing the Islamic system. “Addressing the challenges and problems of the people is one of the main responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate,” Hanafi said assuring that necessary plans will be taken in the construction of the district’s transportation road.
