IEA political commission holds meeting

KABUL: The political commission meeting of the Islamic Emirate was held with Deputy Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Kabir on the chair, deputy PM office said in a statement Wednesday. In the meeting, the participants discussed some issues including attracting international humanitarian aids to Afghanistan, with the deputy Prime Minister, according to the statement. “The current situation in Afghanistan, the international relationship of the Islamic Emirate with the world as well as the international humanitarian aid were among issues exchanged view on, and necessary decisions were made in the meeting,” the statement said. This country’s deputy Prime Minister’s meeting on the Afghanistan situation comes, while U.S. special representative Thomas West has resumed trips through the region to discuss issues including Afghanistan. This is to be noted that the Afghanistan situation should be talked on, from nearer and directly with the Islamic Emirate authorities, not with the former failed regimes’ corrupt officials.
