IEA policy based on interaction, understanding, Minister Haqqani

KABUL: Acting Minister of Interior of the Islamic Emirate, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani met with Chinese Ambassador to Kabul, Wang Yu, the ministry said in a statement the other day. In the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral relations, including the tripartite meeting of Islamabad and stressed the need for the development of bilateral ties in different sectors, according to a statement. “China stands with Afghanistan and believes that the development of nations is only possible in a free and independent en vironment and Afghans are currently on that path,” the statement quoted ambassador Yu as saying. “We aren’t supporting the policies of sanctions, pressure and interference in other countries,” the statement quoted him. Minister Haqqani praised the realistic position of China and said that Justice is extremely important when it comes to International interaction. He went on as saying there won’t be an atmosphere of trust unless moral principles become the rules in this field. Having malicious intent for others in mind and action are ill politics. “We believe in good relations. The policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is that of interaction and understanding, we have good intentions and we expect the same from others,” the statement quoted Haqqani as saying.
