IEA charge d’affaires to Pakistan meets Afghan students

KABUL: Afghanistan’s charge d’affaires in Islamabad Sardar Ahmad Shekib met with a number of Afghan students the other day, a statement said.
In the meeting, Sardar Shekib listened to the students’ problems and emphasized the importance of knowledge and learning.
“Under the current situation, what our society, nation and country need seriously and urgently is learning knowledge and the training of expert personnel,” he said.
“You should do your best to learn science and art and work together brotherly, away from all ethnic, linguistic and geographical discriminations,” Shekib said adding that you represent a country and a geography, and you will surely understand the mission and authenticity that is on your shoulders.
“With education and learning, we will be able to play a role in the development of our society and country. Let’s show the positive image of the great nation of Afghanistan,” he said.
At the end, he promised the Afghan students about the cooperation of the embassy and their workers.
