Hundreds of military cadets join security forces after professional training in Balkh

MAZAR-E-SHARIF: A total of 800 military cadets, in an official ceremony, received graduation certificates after completing three months of religious and professional training in the training center of 209th Al-Fath Army Corps in the country’s northern province of Balkh, the Ministry of National Defense said in a statement Tuesday. The graduation ceremony was attended by scores of top officials of the National Defense Ministry, scholars and some other related organs, the statement said. Addressing the ceremony, the officials said: “Now that you have been educated and prepared for protecting the Islamic system, do your best to protect the Islamic and national values countrywide.” One of the graduated soldiers while receiving his certificate said he was ready to serve the people and timely respond to any insecurity, wherever he deployed in the country.
