Hundreds of foreign tourists visited Takht-e Rostam Stupa in two months

AIBAK: A total of 170 foreign tourists have visited the Takht-e-Rostam Stupa in the country’s northern province of Samangan in the past nearly two months of the current solar year, the provincial Information and Culture Department said in a statement Saturday. Qari Tajuddin Tanish, the head of tourism of the provincial Information and Culture Department, said that 170 foreign tourists from 25 countries of the world have visited the historic Takht-eRostam Stupa within nearly the past two months of the current solar year, according to the statement. With the takeover of the country by the Islamic Emirate and the provision of overall security in Afghanistan, the number of tourists visiting the country’s historical and natural attractions has increased.
