Hundreds of cadets join ANP after completing military training in country’s southern zone

KABUL: A total of 500 police cadets, after completing two months of professional and religious training, in an official ceremony have been graduated from the Police Academy of the southern zone of Kandahar province, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement Sunday. The ceremony was attended by a number of the government high ranking officials including the IEA’s Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, the Deputy Administrative Minister of the Ministry of Interior Affairs Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, the statement said. Addressing the ceremony, Mujahid said that it is the responsibility of the graduated policemen to serve the community, to rule and protect the Islamic system, because the Islamic Emirate has taken the power by lots of sacrifices and efforts of Afghans, according to the statement. “After receiving certificates during the ceremony, the graduates pledged to serve the people and ensure security and order everywhere in the country’s eastern provinces,” the statement said. Tens of newly trained Afghan cadets have also graduated from military and religious training centers and deployed to ensure security in the related provinces. The Kabul Times
