Hundreds of Afghan refugees return home from Iran, Pakistan

KABUL: A total of 960 Afghan refugees have been deported from Pakistan and Iran in the past two days, the Ministry of Refugee and Repatriation said in a statement the other day. According to the statement, 850 Afghan immigrants have been deported by the Iranian government and returned to the country via Islam Qala port in western Herat province. Also, 110 Afghan refugees have been expelled by the Pakistani government and returned via Torkham crossing to the country within the past two days, the statement added. The expelling process of Afghan nationals living in the neighboring countries has been continued and millions of Afghan immigrants have forcibly or voluntarily returned to the country so far.
