On the other hand, with passing each day, the weather is getting colder

people in the province.
Since Herat was hit by earthquakes and aftershocks, the situation has been very heart-breaking and shocking as the earthquake-affected families are still homeless and do not have shelter at all. They are facing with various prob lems and challenges. Misery, lack of shelter and fear of possible earthquakes have devastated the affected families. On the other hand, with passing each day, the weather is getting colder and various diseases will affect the miserable and earthquake-affected people in the province. The situation that has affected the people of Herat is really painful and sad. It makes every human heart hurt and drowns in sorrow. It is time that all particularly those who are rich and have resources should not hesitate to help the affected people of historic Herat. As the situation in Herat is extremely dire and the miserable people of the province are in the depth of disaster and are struggling with a huge and shocking crisis. It is clear that helping and cooperating with the earthquake-affected people in such situations has a great reward. It is necessary for the whole world particularly for the great nation of Afghanistan to not be negligent or indifferent in this great and heart-breaking incident and to rush to help the quake-affected families in Herat. It is still on the Islamic Emirate to use all possible means to manage all aids so that each earthquake affected can benefit it. Besides, the Islamic Emirate should draw the attention of the international community particularly the Islamic countries to help the people of Herat in this dire situation. It is time that we should heal the pain of the noble people of Herat. It is time that each Afghan should show solidarity with the people of Herat. It is time that the Islamic world should provide all necessary aid to the miserable and earthquake-affected people of Herat. This comes as another devastating news has come from Herat. A third earthquake, measuring 6.3 magnitude, struck the city at 8:06 a.m. Sunday morning. Over 100 injured individuals have been received at the Herat Regional Hospital, with two reported fatalities. Medical teams in the hospital have been attending to patients admitted in health tents since the earthquakes last week, with 77 still under health team care. With fewer tremors felt over the last few days, the people of Herat had been hopeful that the earthquakes were subsiding, allowing them to begin rebuilding their lives. Unfortunately, this latest Herat earthquake has only heightened their anxiety. S. Raqib
