Health facilities to be built in newly established districts of Sar-e-Pul, minister

KABUL: The Acting Minister of Public Health Dr. Qalandar Ebad during his trip to the country’s northern province of Sar-e-Pul, said health facilities will be constructed in the newly established districts of the province. In a meeting with a number of the provincial officials, Dr. Ebad assessed the process of providing health services at the provincial hospital and other health centers in the province, the ministry said in a statement Tuesday. “Now an Islamic system has been established in the country, and we not only have a plan for the progress of the country, but we are thinking of providing better services to this nation that has worked hard and made sacrifices to create an Islamic system,” the statement quoted Dr. Ebad as saying. Emphasizing that providing basic health services to the people is one of the goals of the Islamic Emirate, Dr. Ebad said that after the establishment of the Islamic system over 300 health hospitals and clinics have been constructed countrywide. Also, some residents of Sar-e-Pul province expressed pleasure over establishing and providing standard health services by the Islamic Emirate and said that after the establishment of the current system supplying of health services to the people has become better in the province.
