Hajj Pilgrims Committee to facilitate hajj affairs for Afghans, minister

KABUL: The Acting Minister of Hajj and Islamic Affairs Shaikh Noor Mohammad Saqib, during his stay in Saudi Arabia, urged the Hajj working committees to pay serious attention to their duties so that the Afghan pilgrims can perform Hajj pilgrims properly, orderly and safely, according to the statement from the ministry on Saturday. He made the remarks, in the Hajj working committees meeting, which was held on Saturday, and was attended by Shaikh Zar Mohammad Haqqani, the technical deputy minister, the consul of the Hajj mission of Afghanistan in Saudi Arabia, the officials and employees of the Hajj working committees in Makkah and Madinah. According to the statement, the working committees are responsible for special tasks such as transportation, nutrition, rituals, mission people, broadcasting, foreign relations, and health committees said Shaikh Saqib andurged them to pay serious attention to their duties so that the Afghan pilgrims can perform the Hajj pilgrims properly, orderly, and safely. Minister Saqib after listening to the activities of reports from all the working committees, praised the efforts of the officialsand employees and provided them with necessary recommendations regarding the proper fulfillment of their assigned duties, said the statement. This year, around 30,000 people from Afghanistan have been sent to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj rituals. The Kabul Times
