KABUL: On the occasion of the first anniversary of Afghanistan’s independence from the occupation and the last U.S. soldier withdrawal from Afghanistan, grand ceremonies have been held all over the country’s provinces.
The ceremonies were attended by military and civil officials of the Islamic Emirate, religious scholars, tribal elders and influential figures in Balkh, Logar, Helmand, Kapisa, Zabul, Jawzjan, Laghman, Khost, Panjshir, Baghlan, Farah and other provinces.
At the ceremonies, the speakers called the victory of the Islamic Emirate and the withdrawal of U.S. troops from the country, the great blessings of Allah Almighty for the people of Afghanistan and said that the U.S. and its allies invaded and occupied Afghanistan twenty years ago, but fortunately, by giving thousands of martyrs and with the brave sacrifices of the Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate, U.S. forces and its last soldier was driven out of the country on August 31/2021.
It should be noted that the Islamic Emirate has ensured full security and has complete control across the country.
