Gaza ceasefire should be permanent to overcome all tensions

Finally, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) stepped up to the resolution of leading to an immediate ceasefire aimed at ending war during the holy month of Ramadan. The resolution would result in the release of hostages, and flowing humanitarian aids to the Gazans under the Israeli regime forces siege. But, the ceasefire in Gaza should become permanent until it could guarantees the end of the war and all tensions and lead to a lasting peace between the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas and the Israel regime. Welcoming the measure taken by the United Nations Security Council for approving the resolution for immediate ceasefire during the holy month of Ramadan in Gaza, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a statement, called for putting a lasting end to the long war between the two sides that killed thousands of innocent civilians, mostly children, women and elderly, after the occupying regime forces attacked Gaza. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate said in a statement on Tuesday that it supports the request of Hamas and the Palestinians for a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupying forces, the provision of humanitarian aid to the Gazans surrounding the regime forces, the return of displaced Gazans to their homes, the reconstruction of Gaza and the end of its siege. The country’s Foreign Ministry calls on the UN Security Council to immediately ensure the implementation of a ceasefire in Gaza and end the ongoing crisis. The United Nations Security Council and stakeholder countries should take practical steps to prevent “genocide” against the Palestinians and find a just solution to the Palestinian problems. Not only the Islamic Emirate, but, also the whole people of Afghanistan are happy with the measure of the UN Security Council to pass the resolution, calling for the truce to be lasting and the United Nations to understand and recognize the real pain of the Palestinians, which is having an independent government and returning their land from the occupying regime. If the fundamental goal of the Palestinians were not considered by the United Nations and other stakeholder countries, they will continue their war on the occupants and resistance against the Israeli invaders. Then, the flame of war would go out of control and engulf the region that would kill more and more people, as 32,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 74, 500 people have been injured since the start of Israel’s attacks on Gaza over the past five months.
