KABUL: Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB), the country’s central bank announced that a fresh package of up to 40 million U.S. dollars in humanitarian aids arrived in Kabul on Saturday.
“A package of 40 million U.S. dollars in cash aid arrived in Kabul yesterday and was credited to one of the country’s commercial banks,” said DAB in a statement.
Da Afghanistan Bank welcomed the humanitarian aid of the international community and called for more cooperation in this field.
The bank thanked the international community for its support of Afghanistan and asked for further cooperation with the war-torn country, the statement said.
Meanwhile, since the beginning of humanitarian cash aid to Afghanistan, this is the 55th aid package that reaches Kabul in the form of cash and is delivered to one of the commercial banks in the country.
