KABUL: Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with the council head of Ulama and some influential figures of the Shiite community, a statement from the ministry said the other day.
The meeting was held in Khatam-al-Nabeen Madrassa and attended by Ayatullah Salehi, chairman of the council of Shiite Ulama, Professor Mohammad Akbari, Sayed Mohammad Ali Javid, former Minister of Transport, Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi, former Minister of Refugees, Sayed Hadi and a number of scholars and influential Shiite personalities, said the statement received by the Kabul Times.
In the meeting, various issues were discussed between the two sides, according to the source.
