FM Muttaqi discusses trade with Turkish ambassador

KABUL: The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, in a meeting, with the Turkish Ambassador to Kabul, Cihad Erginay discussed the Lapis Lazuli route, the deputy spokesman for the Ministry Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, said in a statement on his X account Sunday. According to the statement, in the meeting, the two sides discussed the initiation of trade between Kabul and Ankara through the Lapis Lazuli Road and organizing joint exhibitions for Afghan and Turkish traders. The Turkish Ambassador to Kabul expressed pleasure over recent progress in Afghanistan and emphasized on the expansion of relations between the two countries, said the statement. He added that Turkish Airlines will soon resume its activities in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, praised Türkiye’s recent stance against the Zionist regime and the occupying state of Israel. It should be noted that Türkiye suspended trade with Israel this week in response to the continued aggression of the occupying regime in Gaza. The Kabul Times
