Flood-affected families receive emergency aids

KABUL: Food distribution to the miserable and needy families, food baskets distribution program for 3,000 flood-affected families has been opened.
The program was opened in Pul-e-Khumri, the provincial capital of Baghlan, in the country’s north.

In the program, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has distributed food baskets to 500 families that have been affected by recent floods and other natural incidents in the province.
A total of 3,000 flood-affected families have also been said to Flood-affected families receive emergency aids receive the food baskets provided by KSrelief in six provinces such as Baghlan, Samangan, Faryab,
Badghis, Zabul and Urzgan.
The distribution program implemented by Tawhid Welfare Organization for Afghanistan Orphans (TWOAO) and is being followed in close coordination with the Afghanistan ministry for natural disaster management.
The assistance comes as part of the relief and humanitarian efforts extended by the Kindom’s KSrelief to a number of needy countries and people around the world.
