KABUL: Five tons of lowquality and expired food and sanitary materials have been collected from the markets of the 20th district, Kabul Municipality said in a statement Tuesday. Officials of the 20th district discovered and seized five tons of low-quality and expired food and sanitary materials, said the statement. Head of 20th district, Mawlavi Abdul Ghafor Umari said that the low-quality and expired materials included milk, pickles, bean and peas cans, chocolate, biscuits, shampoo, soap, soft drinks, detergent, and other materials, according to the statement. Meanwhile, necessary measures have been taken to prevent hoarding, Umari said adding, the shopkeepers have been advised to refrain from selling materials of poor quality and out of date.
