Five more martyred, scores wounded in Paktika aftershock

KABUL: At least five people were martyred and 10 others injured in an aftershock in Afghanistan southeastern Paktika province, an official said Friday.
A senior official of the National Radio Television Ahmadullah Wasiq confirmed in his twitter that the incident happened early Friday morning, in the Giyan district of Paktika province, where five more local residents lost their lives and more than ten others sustained injuries.
This comes after thousands of people have been reported dead and wounded in an earthquake jolted two neighboring provinces of Paktika and Khost, few days ago.
