First three-way meeting of Afghanistan, India & China held

KABUL: Chaired by deputy minister of political affairs for foreign affairs Idrees Zaman, the first three-way meeting of Afghanistan, India and China was held yesterday in Kabul with participation of ambassadors of India and China to Afghanistan.
In the meeting, deputy minister of foreign affairs by calling the two countries as good neighbors and old friends of Afghanistan said further concentration should be paid on training of Afghan military and civil employees, extraction of mines, increasing of power and energy, development of agriculture and transport, regional connection, creating joint chamber of commerce between the three countries and areas where the three countries’ common interests could meet.
Ambassadors of the two respective countries to Kabul also praised the MoFA for its role in holding the meeting, adding that their countries were ready to provide necessary cooperation in the respective fields.
