KANDAHAR: The first fruit processing center inaugurated in the country’s southern province of Kandahar, an official said the other day.
According to the head of the center, Najibullah Momand, the center can insecticide and process up to four track-laden fruits each day.
Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Mawlavi Abdul Rahman Rashid, who has attended the inauguration ceremony, said that similar centers would be built in Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, Herat and Nangarhar provinces.
Also, the provincial governor, Mohammad Yousuf Wafa called on the country’s national traders and craftsmen to invest for the development of the country.
This is the first ever fruit processing and insecticide center being built in the country’s southern Kandahar province.
