First deputy PM visits Farah

KABUL: First Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar left for Farah province, to meet with the religious scholars and provincial government officials, a statement from his office said Friday.
“Inquiring the security, people and the Mujahideen situation was the main aim of the First Deputy PM travel to the province,” the Press Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by The Kabul Times.
Meanwhile, the Mujahideen of the province welcomed First Deputy PM and asked him for the acceleration of the Bakhsh Abad Dam’s practical work and the implementation of more infrastructure projects in the province, the statement added.
“Farah is one of the country’s provinces, known for its hospitality and we will do our best for its further development,” the statement quoted First Deputy PM as saying. The Kabul Times
