Farahi visits Topdara Buddhist Stupa in Parwan

KABUL: The Deputy Publication Minister of Information and Culture and the Acting Deputy Governor of Herat province, Mawlavi Hayatullah Muhajer Farahi, during his visit to the country’s central prov ince of Parwan, visited the Topdara Buddhist Stupa in that province, the ministry said in a statement the other day. Speaking about the role and position of the media Farahi said that the media has a special importance as the fourth power in a government and asked the media officials to act according to Islamic principles and avoid prejudice in their publications, according to the statement. Shams Rahman Sediqi, the head of Information and Culture in Parwan, said that based on the guidance of the respected ministry, if there are any continuous directives, they should be communicated to the media, and we should hold meetings with both private and governmental media outlets. Hayatullah Mahajer Farahi has traveled to several northern provinces of the country to address the challenges facing journalists and media outlets. The Kabul Times
