Explosives leave 5 civilians injured in Kabul

KABUL: At least five civilians sustained deep or slight injuries due to two back-to-back blasts that rocked Dasht-e-Barchi area, a vicinity western edge of Kabul city late on Saturday evening, Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran confirmed.
“Explosive devices placed on two bicycles went off in Dasht-e-Barchi locality on Saturday evening, inured five persons,” Zadran said.
The official, however, didn’t provide more details, saying investigation has been initiated into the incident and the perpetrators will be identified and brought to justice.
In the meantime, Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Nafi Takor in his twitter account said, few persons have been slightly injured in the two blasts.
No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
