KABUL: At least five children were killed and two others wounded in an explosive device blast in Afghanistan’s southern Helmand province, Bakhtar News Agency reported on Friday.
The incident happened on Friday morning, after an unexploded projectile went off killing five children and injuring two others in Marja district of this province, the state-controlled agency said.
Remnants of unexploded ordinance are still taking lives mostly children in the country.
